After 20 years working for both the federal government and private companies in the pest control industry, George Belan of Carmichaels, PA came to a realization that he had a bug of his own. The bug to start his own business, that is. With such extensive experience, George knew the business, and knew it well. In March of 1996, Belan Pest Control was launched.  Now, business is booming as George’s expert technicians provide the services that as George says, “everyone needs at some time or another” to customers throughout Southwestern, PA & Morgantown, WV and Northwestern, SC  area.

George explains. And while it’s easy to see why we don’t like sharing our living quarters with such critters, the financial impact of their damage may come as a big surprise to many. “In my 30 years in this business, I have yet to come across a customer who had funds set aside in savings for bug problems. At times, the cost of treatment, especially termites, can be staggering to the average budget. And if left untreated for long, the cost of repair can be devastating. There’s no doubt early treatment and prevention is the only way to keep costs down,” says George. Although Belan doesn’t require long-term contracts, they are available. “We stand on service. We certainly don't want to give our customers a reason to look elsewhere.
